世の中には実にさまざまなドーナツがあります。
たまたま鎌倉の「山と道」に山の服を買いに行った時に近所にあったので寄ってみたら、とてもおいしかった。一つ一つ丁寧にあげておられました。売り切れ次第終わりのお店です。べつばらドーナツといいます。
そういえば、私たちはドーナツの輪のようなものである、なぜなら周りの人の存在がその人たらしめているからだ、という話を昔友人から聴いたような気がします。
確かにその通りなのかもしれません。誰と一緒にいるのか、どこにいるのかが大切なのでしょう。そんなことを思いながら、ドーナツを家族と泊まりに来てくれる友人家族の分を買いました。
There are a great variety of doughnuts in the world.
I was in the neighbourhood when I went to buy some mountain clothes at Yama and Michi in Kamakura, so I dropped in and found them very tasty. The shop staff carefully fried them one by one. The shop closes when these are sold out. It is called Betsubara Donuts.
Suddenly, the doughnuts reminded me of something a friend once told me: we are like a circle of doughnuts because the people around us make us who we are.
This story may indeed be true. Who you are with and where you are are essential. With this in mind, I bought doughnuts for my family and the family of a friend who is staying with us. I felt happy.
